Diabetes Management
Diabetes affects how the body controls blood glucose (or blood sugar). Diabetes can exist in two forms: as a chronic condition, type 1 and type 2 diabetes; or a reversible condition, gestational diabetes and pre-diabetes. According to the American Diabetes Association, diabetes affects more than 25 million people in the United States and is a leading cause of heart attack and stroke.
The physicians at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center Physicians’ Group are dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals living with diabetes through care and education.
